WHY ESTORA

What Makes Our Approach Different

We approach every workshop the way you'd hope a trusted friend would — quietly, carefully, and without agenda.

Education, Not Advice

Every session is framed as general learning. We present information and tools — your family draws its own conclusions, in its own time.

Small, Unhurried Groups

Sessions are kept small so each participant has space to absorb, ask questions, and take things at a comfortable pace.

Practical Organising Tools

Each workshop includes ready-to-use templates and checklists so you leave with something tangible — not just good intentions.

Sensitive Subject, Handled Gently

Family records and end-of-life planning carry emotional weight. Our facilitators are trained to hold space with care and respect.

Based in Chiang Mai

We are a local Chiang Mai organisation with deep roots in the community — familiar with the cultural and family dynamics of northern Thailand.

Completely Confidential

What families share in our sessions stays within the room. We maintain a strict, thoughtful approach to privacy in all our programmes.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Things Families Often Ask

What exactly happens during a workshop?

Our workshops are structured educational sessions held in a quiet, welcoming space in Pa Daet, Chiang Mai. A facilitator guides the group through topics such as which documents to gather, how to organise family stories, and how to approach sensitive conversations with loved ones. There is no pressure to share personal information, and no individual advice is given.

Are these sessions a form of legal or financial advice?

No. Estora is an educational and organisational service only. We do not provide legal counsel, financial planning, estate planning services, or any form of regulated advice. If you need specific legal or financial guidance, we encourage you to consult with a qualified professional in Thailand.

How many people attend each session?

Memory & Records Workshops are capped at 8 participants to keep the atmosphere calm and personal. Open Conversation Sessions can be arranged as private family groups or in small community groups. The Keepsake Membership includes both group community sessions and self-paced personal access to resources.

What do I take away from a session?

Each workshop includes physical or digital materials — such as keepsake templates, organising checklists, or conversation card sets — that you can use at home with your family. Keepsake Members also receive recordings of sessions and ongoing access to downloadable resources throughout the year.

How much do the workshops cost?

The Memory & Records Workshop is ฿3,700 per person. The Open Conversation Session is ฿12,500 (private family group pricing available — contact us for details). The Keepsake Membership is ฿29,500 per year. All prices are in Thai Baht and inclusive of materials.

Is what I share kept private?

We treat all information shared in our sessions with the utmost discretion. Participants are not required to share personal or family details at any point. Our Privacy Policy sets out clearly how any contact information submitted through our website is handled.

Are sessions available in Thai as well as English?

Our standard workshops are facilitated in English. We are able to arrange Thai-language sessions on request — please contact us when booking and we will do our best to accommodate your family's needs.
